This will be our last performance in Canada until I return to Ottawa next April, and I want to turn it into a party. The venue does not actually pay the band, other than a $100.00 bar tab, so we need to charge a cover to pay the guys in the band and help me out with my trip expenses ... however I would like to give everyone who comes a copy of my new CD "Notes From The Underground". If you already have a copy of my CD, then I'd like to buy you a drink (from the $100.00 bar tab offered by the club).
We will start at 8 pm sharp and play two sets of originals and blues standards done in our style....
I'd like to see my friends new and old. I don't get much of a chance to see you guys, so this could be a great night. We can stay and have a bit of an after party. Socializing in real time!
This has been a great summer for me and my family… the birth of my grandson Kai, the release of my music and radio play worldwide, tours in Europe and Asia, meeting so many new friends as I travel. It's really something to cherish.
I hope I will see you at the "Steve Groves Spanish Tour Going Away Party" Saturday October 11. Come early. We start at 8 sharp.
Thanks and we'll see you soon,
